5. Testing the macros.

All of the macros should be typed right but you should double check them before going in to fight Maat. Just go outside of Jeuno and put yourself in the healing position and test your macros out. Make sure you are healing before testing them so you won't use up any of your supplies. For the nukes just go test them out on a bee or something. Also if one of the items you will be using is different from the item I put in the macro simply change it to whatever your using. Just try not to stray off from the stuff I told you to use.

6. Things you will not need for this fight.

You will not need the things your use to carrying around with you so before even gathering supplies for the fight make sure you place these things in your MH. This includes, swords, shields, exp food, and stuff like that. Also refresh will not be used in this fight as well.

7. Important things to remember before going into the BCNM.

Maat has the ability to buff himself up before the actual fight while your resting. His buffs can include stuff like Stoneskin, Blink, Protect, and Shell. The only ones you really need to worry about are Stoneskin and Blink.

Distance - This is one of the most valuable things to remember for the fight to make sure you will win. Going into this fight Maat has the advantage since he is a combo of monk and redmage which means he will knock you around if he can get the chance. So to make sure this doesn't happen always make sure your right on the edge of casting range.

And one of the other things to remember is to never use your Super Ether till the end of the fight. Using it to early will guarantee you a loss since using that potion stops you from being able to use any other medicine for up to 1hr.

Remembering timers for spells. Using a spell that awakens Maat before sleep is ready again will nearly guarantee your death, so always make sure your timers are up every time.

8. Time to own Maat!

Before trading the Rdm Test to Maat double check to make sure you have everything. Once you do this strip every peice of gear off of you and then proceed to trade him the test.

After teleporting inside go to the BCNM and enter it as well. Once inside the BCNM reequip all of your gear and then proceed to eat your pie.

Buff yourself up with your highest protect and shell spell then rest to fill your MP back to its max.

Once your completely filled on MP use your yagudo drink macro. Now cast your Stoneskin macro, and put aquaveil on as well.

Now like I said before Maat has probably buffed himself up nicely, but don't panic its an easy fix. Head into the room and hit Maat silence. Now if it says Maat has resisted Silence then he did not place Blink on himself which is really good. If it says his shadows has absorbed the spell proceed to cast Gravity on him and then cast Sleep. This should take away all of his shadows and give you time to hit him with Sleep II.

Once he is slept walk into range where only his spells can hit you and where it will take him a few seconds to walk into melee range.

Remember to always keep stoneskin and aquaveil on you at all times and that sleep is ready to be casted before you nuke him. Once everything is ready use your Aero III macro and prepare to cast Sleep as soon as your able to. Always use Sleep before using Sleep II!

After every string of sleep and nuke use 2 normal Ethers and make sure your yagudo drink is still on. If your MP starts getting low before he's half way in HP use your Ether +1's as well. And if he hits you a little but its not really enough damage to use a cure, use a hi-potion to conserve a bit of MP.

When Maat finally reaches half HP he will use Chainspell that is when you make sure he is put to sleep. When he is asleep for Chainspell use the convert macro on yourself and cure yourself to full. Then try to Silence, Gravity, and Bind Maat one more time.

After doing this use your own Chainspell and start using your Aero III macro like crazy. If you happen to run low during this frenzy just sleep him and use your Super Ether to fill your MP completely full one more time. Nuke him a couple more times after this and Maat should give up!
